Experienced School Administrator, School Safety Consultant
Wendy is a highly regarded professional in K-20 education, having held diverse roles as a Middle/High School Principal, Dean, Director of Greek Life, and Judicial Coordinator.
Throughout her career, Wendy has been actively involved in school safety and security initiatives, serving on various task forces, threat assessment teams, and command staffs across multiple states.
Drawing on her 20+ years of experience, she excels in school emergency planning, personnel training, and trauma-informed drills using options-based approaches. She holds certifications as a Standard Response Protocol, Standard Reunification Method, and Advanced ALICE trainer.
Wendy's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a master's degree in education student affairs. This combination of academic knowledge and hands-on experience enables her to approach school safety and security comprehensively and collaboratively.


Team Member Eric Miner
Retired Police Lieutenant, Law Enforcement Consultant
Eric spent the bulk of his 23-year career as a Special Assignments (SWAT) operator and supervisor. He was also an investigator of both external (Gangs) and internal (Internal Affairs) cases.
As an expert in Tactical Operations, Eric continues to serve as an Instructor of the National Tactical Officers Association and Coach for law enforcement leaders.
Team Member Jona Cruz
Educator, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist
Jona has been an educator for over 15 years, teaching grades K-12 throughout her tenure. Spending over half of her teaching career in Guam, she has a passion for diversity and inclusion. Jona has risen to positions of leadership due to her experience with professional learning communities, the Responsive Classroom, and the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system.
Jona has degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, with an endorsement in Middle Grades, English. She is committed to helping educators learn and grow through professional development.


Advisor Joshua Cruz, M.S.
Joshua Cruz is a dedicated and experienced military professional with over 16 years of service in the Guam and Arizona Army National Guard, including extensive experience as an Infantryman and in transportation units. Currently serving on active duty as the Substance Abuse Coordinator for the Army National Guard in Arizona, Joshua plays a critical role in promoting wellness and resilience among service members.
With a strong background in military tactical strategies, Joshua combines frontline experience with a deep understanding of risk management and prevention. His work includes the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support commanders in conducting effective risk assessments, ensuring mission readiness and solider safety.
In addition to his operational duties, Joshua collaborates closely with family services, focusing on intervention and prevention programs that support soldiers and their families through challenges related to substance use.
Advisor Brandon Hannes, M.S.
Brandon Hannes is a former police officer and current licensed private investigator with broad experience across multiple sectors of the safety and security industry. He currently works in corporate security as a Data Center Administrator, specializing in the protection of critical infrastructure and high-security facilities. Over the course of his career, he has held roles in law enforcement, private security, and emergency management, with a continued emphasis on safeguarding both public and private institutions.
Brandon has also served as a dedicated school safety professional, working directly with K–12 schools to assess vulnerabilities, implement campus-wide security protocols, and support daily operations. He holds advanced credentials in homeland security, emergency management, and threat assessment, bringing both tactical expertise and high-level planning insight to every engagement.
